Bart gets himself in hot water and the family must travel abroad to Australia to get him out of trouble. Listen along as @PeachMachine & @Dabbledob regale you with tales of their youth making crank calls, and loving koalas. Peach and Dabbledob kick off season 2 with a confusing episode selection. Watch along with us as we discuss an impressive Simpsons episode. Mr. Cooper joins PeachMachine and Dabbledob to watch a phenomenal classic epiboy. We decided that we didn’t want to do a football episode, even though Dabs had just hit a 6 team parlay… I’m giving him til week 8 to be broke and give up.
On this episode, it's the next CSWL pay per view , entitled "Card Subject to Change." Not only will this pay-per-view be rocking, but legendary announcer Timmy Baltimore (@TimmyBaltimore) joins @PeachMachine and @Dabbledob to help book the action. Writer Ian Maxtone-Graham, a former resident of New York, had conceived the idea of having the family travel to the city to locate their missing car and believed it to be "a classic Manhattan problem". Bill Oakley, who had visited the World Trade Center when the construction of the towers was completed in 1973, suggested parking the car in the plaza of the buildings.

The go-home show for our version of Wrestlemania. Give it a listen as we try to piece together a YEARS worth of our own fantsy promotion to the finale. Join Peach and Dabs and their new friend Fowl as they relive this musical episode of the Simpsons. To honor the sacred holiday, Dabs and Peach watched Homer become a pothead when he gets prescribed medical cannabis for his eye pain.
It’s hard to put a finger on exactly, hence why I’m keeping this in the strays, but it just feels like the show is straining a bit to justify Barney disappearing with the car. That said, Moe’s belief that the pope is picked using an egg-based system is more than worth the price of admission, not to mention the pivotal introduction of Duffman. The Simpsons go to New York City and, while there, Homer tries to retrieve his illegally parked car, and Marge and the kids see the sights, including a Broadway musical about the Betty Ford Center. Homers face in the final frame of this episode is so funny and something they never draw on his face ever again.

And don’t forget, the Mountain Music festival is coming up. @PeachMachine and @Dabbledob watch an excellent episode with incredible guest star Mark Hamill. Homer gets another whacky job, with plenty of “Diamond” Joe Quimby and “Fat” Tony to keep the viewer engaged for 22 minutes.
Upon sharing the lyrics with the rest of the production staff, some revisions were made, although little was changed. Bill Oakley was unsatisfied with the part of the musical where the actor sings, "Hey, that's just my aspirin!", claiming that a better line could have been written. David Silverman was sent to Manhattan to take photographs of the area in order to make the episode more accurate. If you do want to start looking for signs of the decline, I think you could argue that the opening sequence at Moe’s is a little weak; there’s some definite fraying around the edges of the show’s previously impeccable comedy machine.

Upon arrival at his car, Homer discovers it has been issued many parking tickets and has been wheel clamped. While waiting for a parking officer to come and remove the clamp, Homer gets given some change by passers and decides to get himself a pizza but doesn't want to leave his car in case he misses the officer. He quickly gets back into the lift and races back to the ground before racing from the South Tower to the North Tower and then races up in the lift to the top of the tower, instantly feeling much much better after urinating. Unfortunately for Homer while he is in the rest room the officer arrives and Homer seeing him issue another ticket as no one was present lets out an extremely loud DOH.
To his extreme frustration this now adds a further $250 dollars to the fine that he needs to pay. Meanwhile, the rest of the family tours the Statue of Liberty, Little Italy, Chinatown, and the Empire State Building. Bart leaves the group to visit the offices of Mad magazine, and is in awe when he sees Alfred E. Neuman. The family attends a Broadway musical about the Betty Ford Clinic, and then takes a carriage through Central Park to where they are planning to meet Homer.

The sign above the bus station simply says “Port Authority Bus Terminal,” with no additional gag layered in. Yet there still are tons of sight gags waiting to be discovered, adding enormously to the sense of scale. This page has been viewed 705 times this month, and 4019 times total. Peach Machine and Dabbledob continue to book their own fantasy promotion using modern wrestlers with new gimmicks! It's funny, sometimes topical, always dumb. Homer realizes that he needs to reach Central Park to pick up the family and get out of New York before nightfall as he is not prepared to wait until the following day for the officer to return.
Homer later receives a letter from the New York City government, which informs him that his car has been found parked in the World Trade Center plaza and will be destroyed (by being "thrown into the East River at your expense") if not picked up in 72 hours. Homer reveals to the family that he had once been to New York before when he was 17 years old, and had a horrible experience. Marge and the children persuade Homer to go retrieve the car, and he reluctantly agrees. And I do remember, in one of the frivolous moments of that processing, once thinking that I would never want to see this specific episode again, that it would be too difficult to see even an animated World Trade Center used for comedy. More than a decade later, there’s a catharsis to be had here. I understand why so much is said about the need to never forget, but there’s something to be said for remembering as well, and this episode achieves the latter.
You are not allowed to view this material at this time. Are you having a moral dilemma about stealing? Then you should listen to this episode as Peach and Dabbs relive this classics Simpsons episode, the one where Homer steals cable. Peach and Dabs are faithful to their Twitter poll and watch a very flat and somewhat boring episode.
He arrives finding his car dumped in the middle of the plaza, full of tickets and a boot on the wheel. As well as a declined plea, While he is waiting, he becomes hungry, but cannot leave his car as the boot man may come. He tries to get pizza without leaving his spot but to no avail. Soon he hungrily devours Khlav Kalash out of a passing cart and drinks can after can of crab juice. However, he then has to go the restroom, and the man driving the cart tells him that the only public toilets are at the observation decks of the towers.
